Ok, this post is going to be a big ´un. My dad sent me the coolest email i may have ever recieved. I think Scott may find it encouraging too. Im going to post it as a 01/01/03 post so its here just not taking up the entire page. I highly recommend venturing into the archives to read it. Heres a couple excerpts that really meant alot to me. Thanks dad, i really miss your preaching, so anytime you feel like it, im open for a sermon.

...............Isaah 30:18 Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you;
And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed are all those who wait for Him.
19 For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem;
You shall weep no more.
He will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry;
When He hears it, He will answer you.
20 And though the Lord gives you
The bread of adversity and the water of affliction,
Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore,
But your eyes shall see your teachers.

.........But here is the real key - the most important thing you learn is not how to work for the Lord, but how to walk with the Lord, how to enjoy the relationship He designed you for. He did not primarily create you for work, but for relationship. So first of all, while you are discovering, get to know Him. Look around and see where He is working and what He is doing and join with Him in His work. In doing so, you will see His great heart and learn of His ways. You really get to know someone by working beside them, hearing them talk, seeing how they do things.
